Web based System   – Franchise Hotel Booking System

Hotel name –Zyphora Suites – linked to 2 hotels (Grand Zyphora Port Dickson , Grand Zyphora Melaka)

Software Used : PHP, MySQL, Notepad++

Objectives :

• To improve data accuracy and system reliability by implementing proper validation.
• To improve user experience when checking room availability
• To increase user retention by providing a seamless and trustworthy interface.
• To improve the accessibility for exclusive member benefits

Requirements:

User Registration: Users must register to book rooms. Guest check-out is also available without an account.

Room Booking: Users can select room types, check availability, and proceed to booking with an option for checking availability and viewing room details.

Payment: Users can choose the option of pay by Touch N Go, Card or E-Wallet and FPX – create dummy payment page and able to retrieve booking confirmation in email and booking receipt able to download also send to user’s email.

Administrator Panel: The system should have an admin panel to manage room inventory, user accounts, bookings, transactions, and feedback.

Member Features: Registered members get personalized offers, past bookings, rewards, and feedback management.

System Design: The system will be user-friendly, with easy navigation and data validation. It will also have responsive design principles for mobile users.

Data Handling: Ensure data accuracy through proper validation and error handling for booking processes.

Room Availability Suggestions: If no rooms are available for the selected dates, alternative suggestions should be provided.

Security: The system should have a secure backend to handle user data and prevent data loss or breach.
