ROLE
You are working as a Quality Consultant in an organization of your choice*. (consult your teacher if you are not sure). You have been asked to submit a report to your senior management, to address various issues in the implementation of a new strategic quality change. This change is supposed to create a HIGH IMPACT on the organization’s business performances.
*Choose a company in the manufacturing (Automobile, Computer, Retail) (cannot choose Toyota) nor Service industry. (hotel, event, travel agent)
TASK
Your client has asked you to prepare a report relating to the following issues:
1. Understand the role of operations management in an organization
1.1 explain the importance of effective operations management in achieving organizational objectives.
1.2 evaluate the success of existing operations management processes in meeting an organization’s overall strategic management objectives.
2. Understand the importance of managing quality in an organization

3. Be able to plan a strategic quality change in an organization

3.4 design systems to monitor the implementation of a strategic quality change in organization

GRADING CRITERIA
- The assignment should have a cover page that includes the assignment title, assignment number, course title, module title, Lecturer/ tutor name and student’s name. Attach all the pages of assignment brief/cover sheet with your report and leave them blank except your signature, for official use.
- Ensure that authenticity declaration (your signature) has been signed.
- This is an individual assignment.
- Content sheet with a list of all headings and page numbers.
- A fully typed up professionally presented report document of 2,500 words. Use 12 point Arial or Times New Roman script.
- Your assignment should be word-processed. Charts, tables, graphs are not included in the word count.

- Include a Minimum of 6 references not Later than 2018
- Exhibits are outside this limit.
NOTES TO STUDENTS FOR SUMMISSION
