MARKING SCHEME
Total Marks for the dissertation is 100 and is divided into three sections:
a. Evaluation of Dissertation Proposal, first phase by supervisor and examiners
b. Evaluation of Progress and Final Dissertation Report by Supervisor – 50 marks
c. Evaluation of Final Dissertation Report by Examiners – 30 marks.
Notes:
• Passing marks for the dissertation is 65 out of 100 marks. Students who achieve lower than grade C+ (i.e., C and lower) are considered to have failed and will be awarded grade F.
• The presentation of the dissertation proposal will be conducted during the Research Methods and Biostatistics in Nutrition (PKK5003) class. The final presentation will be arranged during the Dissertation (PKK5901) class. Every student is allocated 30 minutes during which 20 minutes will be for the presentation and 10 minutes for the question and answer session.
