2. Analysis: Stating all the physics law, theories, facts.

– Organize the information: external factors/ contributions.

– Analyse the root cause and potential vulnerabilities
contributing to the damage. Key factors – power surges, electromagnetic interference, voltage fluctuations.

– Analyse existing protective measures

3. Application: Build new ideas on how the problem can be
solved. Come out with new solution. No right or wrong on the
new idea/solution.
E.g.

– Idea 1: Enhanced surge protection

– Idea 2: Lightning rods and robust grounding system

– Idea 3: Smart sensors and automation

4. Synthesis / evaluation: Need to have evidence to support the new idea (at least 5 references/citations)

5. Decision making: Able to make excellent comparison/contrast between the information obtained, identify problem and available solution.
