To provide lifelong learning opportunities to those who wished upgrade their knowledge and skills to keep up with the fast-growing IT industry. APU Corporate Training offer a comprehensive range of IT training and certification courses designed to meet the needs of IT professionals and organizations.

Participants are required to register for the course by providing their full name, identification number, home address, mobile phone number and email address before they can select the course to attend. A participant is allowed to more than one course listed with the condition that the dates and duration are not overlapping.

Registration is done by any APU Corporate Training staff. The system should include the following functionalities:

1. Registration of participants for a training

A participant is allowed to register for one or more short courses. The details for a participant as described above will be recorded in the system. However, the course date and duration cannot be overlapped if multiple courses selected.

Participants will be required to pay a deposit of 15% of the total training cost during the registration. If the participants selected more than one course, your program to make date/duration is not overlapped. A 50% discount on the standard rate will be given to any active APU student and 25% discount will be given if the participant is an APU alumni with the condition a valid TP Number linked to the participant is given during the registration.

2. Calculate the Total Training Cost and Display the details of the training

The training cost, and discounted amount is to be calculated and to be displayed to the user.

3. Update participant information

A participant’s information such as home address, email address and mobile phone number is updated.

4. Participant cancels registration from a training

A participant may withdraw from a training. As such, the participant will be required to provide the reason for the cancellation.

5. Participant Listing

The list of participants is to be prepared for the trainers before a training starts. Therefore, a function will need to be added so that the participant list can be generated or display in the system
