- Explain the concept of management and describe FOUR (4) function approach in management.
- There are three kinds of organizational change which are changes in structure, changes in technology, and changes in people. Therefore, every organization has to adapt to all those changes in order to compete with competitors in the market. However, some organizations are still resistant to change. Describe THREE (3) reasons why people resistance to change and explain TWO (2) ways to reduce resistance to change in the organization.
- Organizational behavior is the study of the actions of people at work. Through the study of human behavior, managers could find out that each individual has their own personality. An individual’s personality is a unique combination of emotional, thought, and behavioral patterns that affect how a person reacts to situations and interacts with others. Describe FIVE (5) models of personality.
- Employees sometimes can feel demotivated at the workplace. As a manager, need to understand how to motivate the employees to work productively. One of the theories of motivation is developed by Abraham Maslow. Explain for example Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs.
