Specific Tasks
- Using the list of ideas from your idea generation, carry out idea selection. Use NAF as the first tool, then choose two more tools that are suitable until you are left with one final idea.
- Once you have the chosen idea, develop the idea with the Six Serving Men.
- Draw/sketch your new product.
- Describe the features of the product.
- Describe how it works.
- Do a simple cost table for manufacturing the product.
- Put all the information from Phases 1 and 2 of your IVC into a poster. It is recommended to use Adobe InDesign for this task.
- Create an online survey form to collect feedback from your audience.
- At the end of the poster, create a QR code for your online survey form.
- In summary, your poster needs to include:
- A summary of your proposal
- Idea generation
- Idea selection
- Idea development
- How It Works / Features
- Cost Table
- QR Code for feedback form
- Print out your poster in A3 size. Present your poster in Week 11.
