a) Explain the historical evolution of Organizational Development and how it has shaped modern OD practices. (8 marks)
b) Describe the key phases of the OD process that the consultant should follow at TechGrow Inc. Support your answer with relevant theoretical frameworks. (9 marks)
c) Evaluate the role of values and ethics in OD interventions, particularly in the context of the technology industry. (8 marks)
Question 2 – CLO2
Change Management Models and Approaches
Read the following case: Global Retail Corp. is experiencing both planned changes (digitaltransformation initiative) and unplanned changes (sudden market disruption due to new competitors). The organization is struggling to manage these simultaneous changes effectively.
a) Compare and contrast planned and unplanned change, using specific examples from the case. (9 marks)
b) Analyse TWO (2) major models of change (e.g., Lewin’s 3-Step Model, Kotter’s 8-Step Model, or ADKAR Model) and their potential application in Global Retail Corp.’s situation. (8 marks)
c) Evaluate the potential resistance to change in this scenario and suggest strategies to overcome it. (8 marks)

Diagnostic Tools and OD Methodologies
You are an OD consultant working with HealthCare Solutions, a network of hospitals facing challenges in employee engagement and departmental coordination.
a) Design a comprehensive diagnostic strategy using THREE appropriate diagnostic tools. Justify your choice of each tool. (9 marks)
b) Analyse the potential data collection methods you would use, considering their advantages and limitations. (8 marks)
c) Explain how you would interpret the collected data and translate it into actionable OD interventions. (8 marks)
Question 4 – CLO4
Application of OD Concepts in Diverse Contexts
MultiCulture Ltd. is a multinational organization operating in 12 countries with a diverse workforce. They want to implement an organization-wide cultural transformation program.
a) Analyse how OD concepts and interventions might need to be adapted for different cultural contexts within MultiCulture Ltd. (8 marks)
b) Develop a comprehensive OD intervention plan that addresses:
• Cultural sensitivity and diversity
• Virtual team dynamics
• Cross-cultural communication
