ASSIGNMENT OBJECTIVE
The objective of this assignment is to enable you to develop a good understanding of the theoretical and practical perspectives of instructional technology.
INSTRUCTIONS
This course assignment consists of THREE (3) questions. Answer ALL questions.

QUESTION 1 (40%)
Designing and Developing a Lesson Using the ASSURE Model in Google Classroom
This assignment requires you to first design a lesson using the ASSURE Instructional Design Model and then develop and demonstrate how this lesson would be implemented in Google Classroom. You are not required to teach the lesson, but the design and development should be complete and clearly presented.
There is no word limit for this assignment, but keep the submission within 8–10 pages, including screenshots of your Google Classroom.
This question has TWO (2) parts. The following steps will guide you:
- Part I: Design the Lesson Using the ASSURE Model
Prepare a complete lesson design based on the ASSURE Model. Your write-up should include the following:
- Analyse Learners – Describe your learners’ characteristics (e.g., age, level, prior knowledge, learning styles).
- State Objectives – Clearly define learning objectives using the ABCD format (Audience, Behaviour, Condition, Degree).
- Select Media and Materials – List and justify the digital tools, platforms, and materials selected for the lesson.
- Utilise Media and Materials – Explain how you will organise and deliver these materials.
- Require Learner Participation – Describe how learners will engage in the lesson and participate actively.
- Evaluate and Revise – Describe how you will assess learning outcomes and what feedback or revision will be made to improve the lesson.
Support your design with relevant references and examples where appropriate.
- b) Part II: Developing and Demonstrate the Lesson in the Google Classroom
Using the lesson design from Part I, develop the lesson in Google Classroom and include the following:
- Screenshots of the actual Google Classroom interface showing:
- The class you created
- The lesson title and description
- Activities or assignments that demonstrate the application of the ASSURE model, including ASSURE Model components and what to show:
- A – Analyse Learners
Evidence such as learner profiles, diagnostic tools, or introductory survey posted in the class or material section. - S – State Objectives
Learning objectives stated in the class description or posted as a separate file.

- Clearly label the screenshots to show how each component of the ASSURE model has been applied in the platform.

Tugasan ini memerlukan anda untuk mereka bentuk pelajaran menggunakan Model Reka Bentuk Pengajaran ASSURE dan seterusnya membangunkan serta menunjukkan perlaksanaan pelajaran tersebut dalam Google Classroom. Anda tidak perlu mengajar pelajaran tersebut, tetapi reka bentuk dan pembangunannya mestilah lengkap dan disampaikan dengan jelas.
Tiada had perkataan untuk tugasan ini, namun serahan anda mestilah dalam lingkungan 8–10 muka surat, termasuk tangkapan skrin daripada Google Classroom anda.
