GROUP ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS

1. Mode

GROUP (4-5 students).

2. Manuscript Preparation

Each group needs to prepare a manuscript based on the data collected for Assignment 1.

3. Descriptive Analysis

The students are required to perform the Descriptive analysis based on the objective of the study.

4. Submission Requirements

Submission in the form of a written report (manuscript) and slides presentation in hardcopy and softcopy report in the eklas.

5. Important Dates

• Date of Manuscript submission: 24 APRIL 2025 (THURSDAY)
• Date of Presentation: 24 APRIL 2025 (FRIDAY)

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOME(S):

CLO2: Plan and implement the questionnaire in research.

QUESTIONS:

1. Students are required to prepare a manuscript based on the data collected for Assignment 1.
2. The student needs to perform the Descriptive analysis based on the objective of the study and present the study conducted.
3. The format of the manuscript is based on the Journal selected from your area of study.

Manuscript and Slides Presentation

The guidelines of report:

1. Cover page: MSU logo, subject’s code and name, assignment’s title, student’s name and ID, submission date, and lecturer’s name.
2. Prepare a manuscript by adhering to the following format:
   • Research title
   • Author
   • Abstract (200 words)
   • Introduction (Background, significance, and objective)
   • Methodology (Study design, target population, inclusion and exclusion criteria, sample size calculation, questionnaire details, and data analysis)
   • Results and Discussion (maximum 4 Tables and Figures with title and footnote text of describing the results Or Results followed by the Discussion (depends on the selected Journal))
   • Strength and limitation
   • Conclusion
   • References (APA style) (within 5 years)
   • Front page of Plagiarism report
   • Rubric attached
3. List of contribution page of each student in the group.
4. YRS20302 RESEARCH METHODOLOGY (LABORATORY)
5. The report needs to be checked by plagiarism detection tools before submission (less than 20%).
6. Prepare the manuscript by adhering to the following format:
   • Font type and size: Arial, 11
   • Spacing: Text (single spacing, single-sided, justified) with page number
   • Number of pages: Maximum 6 pages (including tables, figures, and abstract) Excluding cover page, front page of Plagiarism report, and rubric form.
   • Binding method: Staple
7. Prepare the slides presentation by adhering to the following format:
   • Research topic and significance of study
   • Objectives and data analysis
   • Results and discussion
   • Conclusion
   • Maximum 10 minutes presentation per group

ASSESSMENT:

The manuscript and presentation will be evaluated based on the rubric attached.
