With the record-breaking high temperatures as well as massive floodings in various countries all around the world, 2023 may yet be another forgotten footnote in our struggle for climate sustainability. It seems that as the environment is facing such massive pressures, businesses as well as governments are still not taking this matter seriously.

With a focus on international business, politics, macroeconomics or even social-cultural themes (or even a combination of these themes), discuss if what is happening at present is a sign of self-interest (i.e. it is simply pure greed) or just a lack of interest in something which is beyond their control.
