5.0 Market Ratio
A market ratio is a financial metric that compares a company’s stock price to a measure of its financial performance. Market ratios, also known as valuation ratios, help investors and analysts determine if a company’s stock is undervalued, overvalued, or fairly priced.
5.1 Price-to-Earnings (P/E) Ratio
Compares a company’s stock price to its earnings per share (EPS). A higher P/E ratio indicates that investors expect higher growth from the company.
