QUESTION 1
A biomedical sensor circuit reads a small millivolt signal from an ECG sensor, and to amplify the small-signal voltage from the sensor, you need to design an amplifier circuit with the following specifications:
a) Mid band gain of 28 dBb) A low cut-off frequency of 100 Hz
c) A high cut-off frequency of 1.5MHz
d) 15 V DC voltage supply By showing all the necessary steps, construct the amplifier circuit with suitable MOSFET, resistors and capacitors. Hence, run the simulation analysis on LTSPICE to prove your calculations. State any assumptions made. (50 marks)

As an audio systems engineer, you are tasked to design a preamplifier circuit for a high-fidelity audio equalizer requested by a client. The specifications given by the client are as follows:
a) Mid band gain of 0 dB
a) A low cut-off frequency of 40 Hz
b) A high cut-off frequency of 2 MHz
c) Output impedance ~90 Ω
By showing all the necessary steps, construct the amplifier circuit with suitable BJT, resistors and capacitors. Hence, run the simulation analysis on LTSPICE to prove your calculations. State any assumptions made. (50 marks)
