FIN533 Individual Assignment (20%)

You are to document an analysis of personal finances, including earnings, liabilities, assets and investments. This individual assignment is given to prove students’ capability to analyze numerical and graphical financial data related to assisting in current and future personal financial planning and decision making.

You are tasked to be your own financial planner and advisor. Gather all information and come up with the followings:

1. Your biodata and profile (based on assumptions and not limited to):

• occupation, source of income;
• type of house, vehicles, other assets, liabilities, etc;
• you may include photos, images, graphical illustration, documents, etc; and any other information deemed relevant.

2. Develop your own personal financial templates such as Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, Financial Ratios, and Personal Budget.

• Show monthly income and expenses from January until December 2025.
• Balance Sheet as at 31st December 2025. iii. Cash Flow Statement for the year ended 31st December 2025.
• Personal Budget; and
• Financial Ratios (4 types).

3. Assess and evaluate your own financial situation. Comment based on your findings and analysis in Section b.

4. Provide recommendations to further improve your financial situation in the future.

Additional information:

• You are to show all calculations particularly on how you derive the outstanding figures of loans. You may use the loan calculator available from the web.
• You are required to utilize the Excel sheets of financial statement worksheets provided in eConnect.
• You may also create your own excel template or use any other templates available from any learning resources.
• You are to produce a report and encouraged to supplement with infographics for this individual assignment.

Students must show CREATIVE work with REAL and LOGICAL FIGURES.
